The way it's written in the Bible make sense in some places are metaphorical. That is a small story easy to remember, the author places the meaning. In very few places the meaning given directly to the reader directly.
In principle, the history of protoplasm, of Adam and Eve are allegorical. The author gives us the true meaning which is to say directly. This takes into history.

Also another point that deserves attention is the persistence of Revelation the number 7. The number 7 is symbolic and refers to many places to stress the great importance. Apparently related to a natural law that we have not yet discovered, but the ancients knew. Obviously has some mathematical properties that will help us to find God.
But why the disclosure states in many disasters? Because when the man approached God, it has too much power in his hands. And if we use destructive, hitting each other, then we will experience a real hell!
However, the discovery gives us some information so we can come closer to God ...
